What happens if an external system is down?
Steps retry with exponential backoff. After the retry budget is exhausted the run parks in a failed state that you can replay once the dependency recovers — no silent data loss.
Are there limits on workflow runs?
Every plan includes a monthly run allowance, shown live in your usage dashboard. Runs above the allowance are billed per thousand rather than being cut off.
Can workflows call our internal APIs?
Yes, via the HTTP step with stored credentials. For private networks, our static egress IPs can be allowlisted at your firewall.
